The luxury Uganda flying safari in the game parks is one of the best moments you would wish to while on your wildlife safari. Uganda has gotten a good number of game parks worth a visit on the flying safari. The safari will take you to game parks using a scheduled flight by Aero link or a private flight by Kampala Aviation. You will take a domestic flight from Entebbe to kidepo national park and on arrival you will meet our driver guide who will take you through the national park for the game drive and this may be in the afternoon or early morning. The main star of Apoka is the large swimming pool, carved out of the rock face that makes you want to leap in, arms in the air. The lodge will be responsible to drop you to the air strip where you will connect to Kasese airstrip for Kibale and Queen Elizabeth national park.
Upon arrival the drive guide will be waiting for you to take you to kibale national park. You will take on the chimpanzee tracking experience in the afternoon or the next morning depending on what you booked on your $250 permit. Once you are in the midst, expect a lot of drama and activity. You will watch them look for food, breastfeed, groom each other and mate. You may even witness fights between members of the group or larger males. You will then head to your lodge that is Ndali lodge for dinner and overnight.
Early morning the driver guide will transfer you Queen Elizabeth National Park. You will take on an afternoon boat cruise. The cruise will give you the chance to see wild animals which come at Kazinga channel to drink water. You will enjoy the cool breeze on this cruise then head to your lodge for dinner and overnight that is Mweya safari lodge.
Early morning after breakfast, you will go for a game drive in the Kasenyi circuit where you will get the chance to see a good number of wildlife. You will see large herds of antelopes in this area and the lions that prey on them. The plains are home to numerous wildlife including buffalos, elephants, Uganda Kobs and waterbucks. The Kasenyi village is also vital while on a game drive in the Kasenyi plains for viewing hippos and many water birds.
The lodge will be able to drop you to Kasese airstrip for transfer to kihihi air strip where you will meet your drive guide taking you to Bwindi for gorilla trekking. You will check in at sanctuary forest camp for lunch as well as chilling for the rest of the hours getting ready for the early morning.
Early in the morning after breakfast, transfer to the park headquarters for briefing. You will check in with your gorilla permit of $800 as well as other necessary documents. In groups of eight people, you will be assigned one family of gorillas depending on your level of fitness.
The time taken tracking gorillas in Bwindi depends on the gorilla group one is assigned to. It can take only 30 minutes to locate some groups while others can take hours. A team of trackers normally go ahead of the group to identify the location of the gorilla family. They then inform the lead Guide by radio call of the exact location of the gorilla family. These advance trackers know where the gorilla group built their last sleeping nests and will head to that direction.
Once you spot the family, you will be allowed only one hour with them. You will be able to learn about their behaviours as well as taking photos of your choice. Transfer back to lodge for lunch and rest (sanctuary forest camp). The camp shuttle will transfer you to kihihi airstrip in morning for your flight to Entebbe where you will connect back home.
